With this blog I am hoping to explore the vision of the Merchant/Planter in Maryland particularly those Merchant/Planters who founded Fells Point, Edward and William Fell. I will discuss how their vision changed over time and how it may have evolved in spite of their efforts. I may also touch on the Competition between Baltimoretown and Fells Point. The time frame of my project would be from the early 1700's to the early 1800's.
